Jeff Koehl serves as the Director of Air Cargo Operations. Jeff joined the GK9PG family after spending 31 years with United Airlines. While at United Jeff served as a Senior Staff Representative in Corporate Security responsible for Cargo Security compliance.

Over the course of his storied career he held a multitude of positions. From 1987 until 2004, Jeff worked in various positions with United Cargo including Cargo Sales, Cargo Revenue Management, and Cargo Operations. In 2004, Jeff moved from United’s Cargo Division to United Airlines Corporate Security. Jeff’s main responsibilities included cargo security and cargo regulatory compliance worldwide for United. In addition, Jeff was responsible for United’s participation in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s C-TPAT program and was responsible for all of United’s USDA transit permits.

Additionally, Jeff is a working member of the ASAC Air Cargo Subcommittee, the ASAC Air Cargo Security Technology R&D Working Group, the Airlines 4 America (A4A) Modern Supply Chain Security Working Group, and Cargo Network Services (CNS) Cargo Security Working Group. Jeff has also worked with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration on numerous pilot projects, including X-ray technology, Explosive Trace Detection and Infrastructure improvement.
